Clean, basic place with very friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. I'm glad to speak a little German, because the night we checked in, it was helpful. The location is good with easy parking in the neighborhood. Very quiet street at night, which made for food sleeping. Our room was a little small, but do-able, especially with the great nightly rate. I would stay here again.

My family of 3 stayed in July 2011 and found this hotel to be nearly perfect for our trip. The location is great with public transportation (train) just a couple blocks away. The train is super easy and runs frequently. It made travel throughout the area very convenient.

The hotel itself is nice enough - not a lot of frills, but clean and well cared for. We had a room for 3 and the actual room had an unusual arrangement with a ceiling beam jutting out through part of the middle of the room but I never managed to hit my head so it was workable. There is no elevator to the top floor (it stops one floor short of the top floor) but this wasn't an issue for us.

The staff is great. They were always helpful, spoke perfect English and seemed to enjoy helping people. The breakfast crew keeps the dining room clean and well stocked. We thought the breakfast fare was perfect. While the variety was mostly the same everyday, there were enough options to change it up a bit everyday.

The gummy bears on the pillows is a nice touch. I LOVE them!

We only stayed here for one night. We paid 75 Eruo because of special promotion. It was really a good deal. Parking is free in a rather small hotel garage. When we were thinking how to drive out from the garage in the morning, one of the staff immediately offered us help and drove our car backward to the gate. We deeply appreciated his initiative and help. For the breakfast, it was decent and a variety of bread, coffee, tea and hams were offered.

The location is excellent, many different choices of resturants and 5 minutes walk to Bahn.

Highly recommended.

This is a small hotel in a neighbourhood street. It's not very far from the Feuersee S-bahn station, but there are other U-bahn and bus stops close by. Using public transport the Hauptbhanhof is probably less than 30 minutes from train arrival to hotel arrival away.

There's not much to say about this hotel, it offers good, no surprises accomodation.

The drawback being the dificulty of keeping the street lighting out of the room, especially if you are on (one of ?) the no somking floors. We were on the 2nd floor and it's on the same level as the hotel sign and the street light. (We managed to use blankets to create an adequate black out, but we visited in July).

The room does not have A/C that I could see, the shower was the usual high german standard, the breakfast was typically german and equally of a high standard, but not exceptional.

The reception is only open between 07h00 and 22h00, so beware if expecting a late arrival or early departure. The reception staff were aimiable and polyglot (English, French, Greek, Arab ...) depending on who was on duty.

I'd use this again for a short stay, or stopover, but for more than 2 nights I might seek out a higher standard, but this represents excellent value for money, nonetheless.
