We have been in this hostel during last fall ( 2003). we visited the stuttgart volksfest, a bit like munichs Oktoberfest and liked the way the swabians go hip with their beer. We were absolutely surprised by the charming atmosphere and the friendly staff of Jugendgästehaus Stuttgart. We booked through their new web site as written above and that was a good decision They offered brand new renovated - as they said - their hotel rooms and we didn't at all feel to be in a youth hostel. Clean and spacy, nice and small bathroom inside the room. The place wasn't very crowded, but there were a couple of guests (young people aged around 20 - 25) we got in contact during their breakfast.
Some of them booked the old rooms but they felt also comfortable with what they got (small rooms with shower on the floor) at decent low prices! No complains, if you go for lower prices and small comfort your choice is this hostel!
