Dormero Hotel upgraded sleeping rooms at former Millennium, adding AC. Disclosure: stayed there right before the cusp of July grand re-opening. The rooms are very techno. For family suite, 2 flat screen TVs, 2 Internet flat screens. Colleague used iPod dock and couldn’t control the volume. No art on walls in favor of multi-color LED “light-show." Bathroom rain-shower head is barely behind a glass half-partition, so the floor/rug gets soaked every time. Free wifi, great movies, a few (free) beverages in minifridge. Great little grocery store about 3 blocks away, and gas station next door has quality snacks & beverages. I found the staff, across the property, very helpful, kind and gracious. If you are not inclined to visit a German spa (rabidly nude, coed), there is no “spa.” The exercise facility hours are odd - not conducive to working out early mornings. FULL breakfast buffet keeps you going well into the day. There for 3rd year to work conference logistics (BTW, conference staff BEYOND outstanding). I did not dine onsite except for breakfast. The former Park Place restaurant now to be a social space to be used like Buckingham Palace backdrop from Queens Jubilee “Our House.” They were timing/troubleshooting the videos when we were there. Caters to business /theatre traveler.
