Very good location near subway station. Frendly staff and quiet rooms. The breakfast is very good and fresh. One little negative thing is that wifi network to rooms is very expensive (In public area its free). Very good choice.

This is a Basic no frills hotel that is a Great Value. The staff is superb and friendly, the rooms clean and well maintained. It is very close to a subway stop with connections to all of Stuttgart, the Main Train Station and the Airport.

A bit hard to find, well for me anyway, nice and clean and not far into town, which I was nicely surprised by. Mid range price, good value.
Parking onsite which was really handy, its in a bit of a residential area and was pretty quiet even with the tram running outside.

Spent three nights here, and it was ok. The hotel is located at Marienplatz, which is a mere two-three underground tram stops from the city center. Around the hotel there are some smaller restaurants and a shop as well as a pleasant square, which is about it.

Checking in was painless, and the staff was welcoming and answered our questions.

The room was a double and the size was ok. What you won't find is charm and deco, but apart from that the room is comfortable and storage space is available, but could do with more places to hang clothes. Air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was very quiet. The bathroom is a story for itself, and makes you feel you're on some cruise ship. While rather odd and cheap, it's still functional and somewhat spacious, with a good shower except for the spilling water.

Breakfast is rather unimpressive and could do with more choices. The scrambled eggs seemed to be made of plastic, and more than one bite out of principle is hardly recommended. Fruit salad and yoghurts were plentiful, though.

Not having previous experience with other Ibis hotels I can only compare with others – you get basic comfort and what you need. In total the stay wasn't very charming, but still comfortable – I wouldn't mind coming back.

It's easy to claim all ibis hotels are the same, but it's not true. Some are rather better (more spacious and comfortable) than others. And unfortunately, this falls in the "less good" category. A very basic plastic bathroom and relatively cramped room (bizarrely lacking in any decor) was not entirely comfortable. Plus, despite booking a double room, only a twin was available, leading to not particularly good sleep quality.

The breakfast was a reasonable ibis spread, again nowhere near as good as I am used to from other ibis hotels.

The local of this hotel in Marienplatz is some way away from the city centre. You can walk - it's about 15-20 minutes - but not particularly pleasant. It's very close to the subway which can get you to the east of the centre easily, but not to the main station without changing.

I stayed here for three nights. The location of the hotel is really superb, especially in Stuttgart where there are not so many plazas and nice public space when compared to other European cities. It's just at the marienplatz U-bahn stop, it has some nice restaurants nearby.

The room was good, not spacious but a good small desk for the computer and a good bed. The view of my room was pretty nice, and there was no noise at all which is always great. As in other ibis hotels, the bathroom is a very small one but very well designed (you feel in a yacht rather than a hotel, but I really like this).

The breakfast was..... Well, German. I left the hotel hungry every morning, but I guess that's the way in most hotels in Germany (it wasn't strange to have this very basic breakfast from my stay at other hotels in Europe and particularly Germany).

I had a LOT of trouble with internet, though. It was really expensive and it didn't work at all two times, and staff were not helpful at all (they limited themselves to calling their internet provider and nothing else). I ended up going to a burger king a block away that had free internet for customers. That worked well, but you never want to work sitting in a Burger King!
