WORST HOTEL EVER! I`ve been to many places and never written a bad review but this hotell deserves it!

We were a group of 30 people, that booked the same hotel as it was near the Porsche museum.

-- About the hotel --

- They did not clean the room each day
- Hotel room was ok
- 3th and 4th floor had no smell
- The WIFI was free but didn´t work or was to slow.
- The staff is very unfriendly especially in the receptions.

Example: We were in the lobby and ordered 10 coffee´s and the staff asked one of us to get him the cups from the restaurant as he didn´t have enough. :/

When we sat there, we asked if we could sit in the breakfast area which was empty at the time, they refused us from it and we had to sit in the lobby which is very small. As we were 30 people there together we sat there and talked, but it was to loud for them and they asked us to keep it down even though they only sat at the back office doing NOTHING!

---- Restaurant next door ----

Worst waiter ever, this Italian girl deserves a medal! We pre-ordered a table for all of us including a biff steak, potatoes and salad. We agreed that with the owner.

When we came there they didn´t have a big enough table so 5 of us had to sit at another table but this waitor was very angry at us that we were not sitting together as she had to serve two tabels now!

When we got part of the food, the steaks were Medium rare and some of the people wanted well done, she than was very angry again because we didn´t specify it before hand. But she never asked! And half of the steaks were not even done so she could simply tell the cook to do the rest of the steaks well done.

After the food we wanted to drink cognac, so I went to the bar and ask the bar tender there which Cognacs they have. She quickly ran to me and told me to sit down as i´m not allowed to be at the bar! :/ So i sat down and waited for her, she than come to us with a bottle of Courvoisier which had about 30 ml liter left in it and that´s all the Cognac they had and it was clearly not enough for all of us.

As we noticed that the hotel bar had few bottles we asked if we can buy it there and you can imagine what answer we got! NO NO NO that´s not possible!

So there you go! If you want to a friendly staff visit another hotel as this one sucks!!!!!

Quiet area, not far from the train stop, maybe 8 min. walk. Small lobby and lift, friendly staff and well located, taxi ride to Stuttgart around 18 euro. Maybe a sign for hotel would be very helpful if you arrive by night.

Room Tip: 4 floor right corner

Basic hotel as would be expected and ideal for visiting Porsche museum. However when we arrived we were not told that lift was not working (our room was on top floor). Only discovered when we went to use the lift - lift not repaired during the two nights of our stay at the hotel. Television did not work properly and although they promised to sort out did not do so. One bottle of water for two people, not replaced for second night. Had to pay for parking although reservation showed free parking. On second night reception manager begrudgingly told us we could change rooms but only smoking rooms available.

Some staff were unwelcoming/rude, and made drama out of a simple request for an extra pillow (also, entered my room without knocking or calling out, while I was in the bathroom). Bed clean & comfy but toilet not fully clean, and shampoo dispenser was empty by second day. Confusion about charges to my card, amenities, etc. Breakfast not great value for money in my opinion. Its location near the motorway makes it convenient for travellers using a car/exploring the region, etc., but due to all the problems, I can't recommend this place. Note, I emailed management with comments days ago to give them a chance to respond before I wrote any reviews, but they have not replied.

Room Tip: I think rooms facing back are probably quieter, but I can't recommend that you stay here.

If you want to visit the Porsche Museum or factory in Zuffenhausen and don't want to spend much money on your hotel stay, then this is the place.

Likes:
+ Walking distance from the Porsche Museum and factory.
+ Dirt cheap: we paid 48 Euros for a double room excl. breakfast, but that's the weekend rate.
+ Good Internet access at no cost.
+ Our room had a kitchenette with a refrigerator. Nice if you want to prepare your own simple meal (we used it for breakfast and lunch).
+ Surprisingly quiet if you get a room at the back of the hotel.
+ Affordable parking garage: just 6 euros a day is a bargain if you want a safe place to park you car.
+ Quite close to the S-Bahn.

Dislikes:
- The TV screen is very, very small.
- The rooms don't have a safe deposit box.

For dinner consider the pizzeria Il Punto, which is located on the ground floor. McDonald's is next door. A few block from the Porsche Museum and factory there's a Lidl super market for dirt cheap beers, wines, snacks, breakfast, etc.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back, otherwise you'll have the noise from the road.

Our experience here was terrible.

First of all, despite the very expensive price we had to pay extra for parking.
Second of all, the hallways smelt of food.
Thirdly, we couldn't unlock our room door
Forth, the room set up was ridiculous. We also requested two twin beds and instead we got a double bed with two single duvets.
Fifth, it is a non-smoking hotel yet we could smell smoke throughout our whole stay.
Sixth, the wifi was awful
Seventh, the decor was extremely dated and tired
And finally, the shower was dirty.

Overall, this was extremely expensive and horrible. The only positive was the friendly girl on reception.

Traveled to Stuttgart for work in July 2013. Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The only reason to book the hotel was because it was close to meeting place. The rooms were clean with fresh sheets but the size was on a smaller end. From the U-bahn station it is about 5-10 min by walk. There is a McDonald on one side of the hotel and an Italian Pizzeria on the other side. There are a couple of supermarkets about 10-15 min by foot near the hotel. It had a PC near the reception area for guests to do basic surfing for free. It was not a very fast one. A quick renovation might help the hotel for better reviews.
