My wife and I had dinner and a few beers here outside in the lovely summer evening, but we wished we had more time to look at the amazing looking pub and wooden interior inside. Of course its not original, but the ornate woodwork and old tap and pub fittings inside looked amazing anyway and well worth a look.
The staff were polite (and patient with our Aussie accent murdering the German language)
The food and beer (although a little dearer than we expected 15-17 euros for a dinner set and normal prices for beer even though it looked like they brewed it right next door! ☺) were still very good and plentiful and we couldn’t find any complaints and would certainly recommend it if you were staying in south Stuttgart and looking for somewhere to eat. It also looked very popular with locals, which is always a good thing!
