“Convenient hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The best feature of the hotel is the location, opposite to Central Station and next to the Centre. It is a nice hotel but not impressive. Internet is free for 30 minutes, which was helpful. Service was very good specially during the breakfast time. They were very efficient.

Stayed one night at this hotel it was very nice and very german hotel.... soft beds nice bathroom nothing super modern but perfect for a 1 night stay to visit Stuttgart. Its right near the main shopping part of town and has a great restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful , I assumed it was part of the room rate but it was not and at 25 Euros it was expensive but really really nice first class for sure. I would stay here again if in Stuttgart however I would look at other places for 25 euros for breakfast and 14 euros for internet is an extra expense other hotels would have complimentary.

Room Tip: high room getting a view of the Hofbahn was better than my view of a office building....

We stayed here for a birthday weekend and were very impressed.

The hotel is conveniently located nextdoor to the central train station and within a very short walk of the central shopping area.

We stayed in a deluxe room, which was extremely spacious (with a separate sitting area) and had a large, modern bathroom. The room was very quiet and had a number of British TV channels.

The staff were friendly and helpful - we arrived at 11am and were given an early check-in, when they found out that it was my fiance's birthday they left us a birthday message and some complimentary cakes in the room, which was a very nice touch!

The only criticism is that internet access was not free, however this did not impact our stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here if we visit Stuttgart again!

Room Tip: The deluxe rooms are very big and feel like a suite with the separate sitting room area.

Located right across from the Main station, it is a short walk away from Konigstrasse, the main pedestrian shopping zone of the city. Hence most of the museums are withing striking distance. They have underground covered parking for which I paid 20 euro a night. The breakfast is very comprehensive. They have cheesecake for breakfast!! Even though it is a buffet bf, the waiters are very active, taking away used plates and pouring you some coffee. Great. The deluxe double was large and comfy, even with 2 small kids.

I was travelling on business and with all hotels near the Messe fully booked my next choice was close to the main railway station. I wasn't disappointed as it was right opposite. The building has a presence to it and looks a bit stark for the outside but don't let that put you off as inside its just class.
A warm welcome from the staff and very efficient check in, the lobby was instantly welcoming,
resisting the temptation of the lobby bar , the standard room was huge and immaculate.
Very well laid out and with everything you would want and more.
The hotel is right next to the main shopping street and the large city park , the theatre is only 5 mins walk away. If I was travelling for fun I would certainly pick this again.
The three hotel restaurants , one with a Michelin star looked nice but I only tried the breakfast which was spot on , particular attention was paid to the tea selection in which the hotel seems to specialise.
Only slight criticism was the smell in the evening from the cigar lounge adjacent to the lobby , whilst being closed off , the smell was pretty strong throughout and while it didn't bother me I would think it might concern some people. Only a small point though in a great hotel

We stayed here when we picked up our European Delivery and the hotel is across the street from the Train station and promenade. The accommodations were great although the bar could be better. Rooms were very large and comfortable. we liked it so much that we stayed here on the return trip.

Excellent hotel with premier service. Check in was a bit slow but several large groups seemed to arrive at the same time. Bell staff very polite and helpful. Everyone was very professional. Breakfast offerings were excellent. Very convenient location to Stuttgart Main Station yet neighborhood was clean and well kept. Convenient to shopping and to the Christmarkets.. a beautiful place to visit at the holiday time.
