Flair Das is 10 minutes by bus 122 from the airport or bus 74/76 from Filderstadt bhf (a/k/a Bernhauser bhf) and is situated in a quiet rural area with some traffic noise (if you have windows open of course). The single room I was in was as big as a double with a clean modern en suite bathroom. Comfortable bed, clean linen and curtains that exclude light when closed. The kitchen part of the room was a bit Spartan with just a fridge and two ring hob plus a coffee maker. There was no kettle, toaster, grill or oven but not a problem if you like eating out. Personally I don't go on trips to cook for myself when there are so many good eateries around. There is a Netto supermarket on Bernhauserstr if you need supplies and a shop next door if you need booze in a hurry! Flair Das is also opposite a Shell petrol station which is handy for car users. The location is ideal if you have wheels but can be a drag if using public transport (bus + S-bahn ) which can take up to an hour to get to Stutt. Hbf. There is no manned reception but the lady who runs the wine/beer shop next door will find Dorothy, the owner for you. Dorothy speaks very good English and is most helpful but does not bother you either once your queries have been attended to.
