I stayed at the Inter Hostel for two nights – the 21st and 22nd September 2012. I have nothing but positives to say about the Hostel & the staff that work there! Our stay at the hostel was for a sports team (self-funded) and we were travelling to Stuttgart to play a local team there. This meant that there were 18 of us to be accommodated. I got in touch with the Hostel by email a couple of months before hand and the staff reserved us 3 x 6 bedroom dorms.
We emailed a couple of times between booking and our actual stay, and we always received a speedy response. Our flight was a little delayed when we landed on the Friday night, but the staff kept someone on reception until we arrived after 11pm.
We were allocated three dorms on separate floors and they looked just as they did on the website! We found the bunk beds to be comfortable – not very noisy and the bedding was clean & kept us warm & comfy!
The rooms were quite warm on the first night so we had the window open, but soon learnt just how loud the church bells were from the church across the road - I'd suggest making sure your window is closed as these are loud enough to wake people.
The rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms on the floor. The toilets always had toilet paper, and the shower rooms were immaculate.
None of us had breakfast at the hostel so we cannot comment on that, but the coffee from the machine in the reception / lounge area was very nice! There were plenty of shops next to the hostel and it was only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre at most!
When it came to checking out on the Sunday morning, again the staff were very efficient and friendly.
All in all, the stay was fantastic & I would definitely recommend the Hostel to other travellers.
