“Superb value, very well-furnished”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in the B&B chain in different countries - this one is one of the best. Efficient and friendly check-in. Very nice room and quiet location. Excellent wi-fi with strong signal. Excellent value for money.

We stayed here for 1 night on 16th September. It's not located in the centre but around 5-10 drive from the city.

Private parking is free but parking space was very narrow and difficult to find as we arrived around 8PM.

Receptionist guy was nice and quickly checked us in. No room key or card given, just a 6 digit PIN code to open your door and will be reset by 12 noon upon check out, which is a very clever idea.
Near the reception, there are vending machines selling drinks, soup, and snacks at very affordable price.

Room was quite small but it seems recently renovated and the fixtures are very clean and properly maintained. Traffic noise could be heard from the room but disappear gradually after late evening.

Breakfast was not included in the room rate and it costs EUR6. However, we didn't take the breakfast so couldn't review this.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel in May 2013. It is very well furnished and preety new. We stayed in a family room with double bed and 2 single beds. There is also a TV and direct telephone. It has small, but nice bathroom. Wi-fi is also available in the room for free.
Breakfast is very good, with good variety of food (from eggs, salami, cheese, Nutella for kids, jams, very good fresh bread, yougurt, fresh apples and juice or water). Also very good capuccino from a coffee machine.
Hotel also has parking (we were lucky and park right bellow the hotel).

It is located near the city center, although there is not much to do around. We went down near the train station, where was small local restaurant with good German soup and pizza. Near the restaurant there is also a small playground for kids with trampoline.

We recently stayed in this hotel for two nights for the Christmas Markets. The rooms were reasonably priced and clean for what you get, though the rooms were a bit on the small side. The hotel is out of the city (don’t be fooled by the name) but it is near the train station which is only a 10-15min journey (5 stops) to the city centre. There is no one on the reception from 12noon to 5pm on a Sunday so it is a possible to leave your bags there during that time, though the main station has lockers and you can hire one for 3 euro’s. The main station is also where the catch the train to the airport.

They advertise the free parking, but the Parking lot is simply too small for the number of rooms, so if you are not arriving early chance is that your car will have to be parked somewhere else. If you value a safe parking look somewhere else (I surely will do that), and somebody should let them rewrite their hotel description advising that parking cannot be guaranteed.

This appears to be a new-ish chain; we hadn't come across it before, but will probably seek it out again when on the road. Probably one step up, in terms of comfort, from an Etap; one step down from an Ibis. Reception wasn't open when we arrived, so we had to get an entry code by paying for the room by credit card from a machine just outside the front door - they then took the price of breakfast off the card, which annoyed my husband as he wanted to pay in cash.

However, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast copious. It wouldn't be a place to spend a romantic week, but excellent for one night on the road.
