This hotel is sited on a main route out of town. We were unlucky in having a room facing onto this street, directly above a tram stop (and one tram line runs through the night), so open windows meant a lot of noise. Other rooms would presumably be quieter, though in the back building there is no lift and access to the upper floors is via fire escape stairs.
We also disliked the beds, with their lumpy mattresses - too soft for my back. There is no free internet access for guests, so your best value here is at the station (50 cents for 4 minutes).
Otherwise rooms were clean and spacious, with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, with delicious German rolls, yoghurt, etc. Staff were efficient and quite friendly, but note that the reception is not staffed after 7 or 8 in the evening. Three tram routes offer quick access to the city.
Overall we thought the beds, lack of internet and noise disturbance outweighed the good aspects, so next time I would probably stay elsewhere.
