We stayed in 3 different rooms in this hotel over the course of 2 weeks. They were all rather small & quite noisy either from the 2 busy roads which run along the front & the back of the hotel, or from the ventilation unit in the underground garage which was VERY noisy. The rooms got very warm & the aircon didn't function but to have the window open meant disturbed sleep from the noise, so sleep quality wasn't great.

We had to change rooms a couple of times as when we arrived the 1st bathroom hadn't been cleaned, & in the room we were moved to the bed had been recently used. I imagine this is as rarity though as the room we were moved to was very clean, so I think these would have been honest mistakes rather than a sign of what to expect from the hotel in general. The communal areas are very clean.

The breakfast area is big & airy and is open to the big main lobby, very pleasant. The European style breakfast selection was great, from cereals, to cheeses, eggs, fruits, yoghurt, toast, jams & cold meats, along with juices & a variety of teas & coffees. They don't start clearing away until well after the stated time, so there's no rushing, which was very nice, and they are continually stocking up right to the last minute, so there's no chance of 'missing out' on any of the food. The breakfast is free, which is a big bonus, and slightly justifies what we thought was quite a high price for a small room in a chain hotel (£81 a night through hotels.com)

There are 2 computers in the reception area with free internet (ask for a code from reception), and these were generally available although sometimes not working. You can also pay for wi-fi in the room.

It's an easy, flat walk into the centre, and will take about 15-20min. There is an underground car park which you can pay to use, though it is quite small so I'm not sure if there'd always be spaces in peak season.

All in all a fairly good stay, but this would be more suited to business than a relaxing holiday break, due to the noise & room size.

This hotel is located not far away from the city center – and anyway Baden Baden is not very large -, and next to an agreeable green park where one can go “spazieren” in the evening. It is either brand new or very recently and thoroughly renovated. Everything in the room and the hotel is shinning and absolutely clean. For a reasonable price, even if the room is not very large, amenities are perfect for business travelers, including air conditioning, internet in the room, a bathroom with shower only in my case, but I really don’t mind because that’s all I need, and there is anyway everything else I would need including hair dryer. The beds are very comfortable. Note that the double glaze windows are very efficient: almost no noise from the traffic go through in the morning. Breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice, though I was not totally convinced by the coffee machine, I could not make it how to avoid having milk in my coffee - maybe I should have asked ? Maybe 1 small downside: I found the check in a bit long, though the person behind the counter was smiling and very polite.

The first thing that should be remarked about this hotel is finding it!!! If you are driving it is not very well marked and if you don’t have a GPS pay very, very close attention to all signs on the sides of buildings. The turnoff (as you turn left) to the hotel has one very small sign (on the right hand side) and it is easily missed. It took us a long time to find this hotel and then not without the help of a taxi driver!
Once at the hotel we checked into the room. It was clean but fairly compact. There was minimal storage space to put things away and hang things up. Plus putting 2 cases in the room was a bit of a juggling act! There was no air conditioning so the room can (and does) get rather warm – opening the window worked to cool down the room but I would not want to be there during hotter weather.
The bathroom only had a shower.
The breakfast was very good. There were a lot of choices – cereals, bread, fruit and cheese. Plus the usual coffee and tea.
There is a good business center that is in the lobby of the hotel, the receptionist provided us with a login and it was free to use. Wi-fi is also available in the rooms but it costs to use it.
Parking is available but it does cost to park - 12 Euros a day.
There are a few restaurants nearby – Spanish, Italian and Greek! We went to the Italian and the Spanish restaurant and the meals were good!
The town is within walking distance and it takes about 15 minutes to walk there.

We stayed at this hotel in 2010 and I found it was a good choice to discover Baden Baden for a weekend. The hotel is quite far from the tourist attractions such as the hot springs of Baden Baden or the city centre.

The rooms and the hotel are brand new and breakfast is included in the room rate. The parking had to be paid extra which I did not appreciate as it was not mentioned when I reserved through expedia.fr.

+ new hotel and new rooms, free internet access and breakfast included in room rate
- very small rooms, parking has to be paid extra, quite far from city centre and tourist attractions

I chose this hotel as I saw there were good comments in tripadvisor. The location of the hotel is good and walking distance of the main spas. There are also a couple of nice restaurants very close to the hotel.
The hotel itself is not great luxury but you get everything needed in the typical Holiday Inn concept. The rooms are very confortable to sleep. The breakfast is probably a weak point but it is good enough. If I go back to Baden-Baden I would go again.
