“Rich Man's Casino”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

Entered the Casino main lobby, looks exquisite. I believe this place is for rich and lonely vacationers where gambling could kill some of their spare time. No photographs allowed inside. Used its washroom & had to pay to use it.

The foreground of the Casino has a well manicured garden with flowers blooming at the time of our visit. Very nice view though.

“Be a part of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

I was in the casino, observed, but didn't play. You need to be dressed appropriately to enter, that means no sandals or open shoes, men with jackets and ladies no shorts. You need proper identification, so bring your passports or IDs along. The casino is old and you feel it. The interior decorations feels Barack, with he gold elements and opulent carvings. There's a nice restaurant cum bar inside. I read that Dostoevsky was here and gambled in this casino till daylight. He also lost all his money here.

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

One of the most historical places in Baden-Baden. Glamorous building inside and outside. Something to see even if you are not a gambler.

“Borrow the Tie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

I had to borrow a terrible coat and tie but I still felt like James Bond. The place is so not Vegas. Have a beverage ... waste some money on roulette and go back in time. We're going back this week to see a piano prodigy at the festspeilhaus, go to the spas, and gamble too little to count.
