“Faberge is more than just the eggs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

As a Russian, I grew up hearing about Faberge from childhood. We know the Faberge Eggs in the Kremlin Museum. But ironically, our museums have few other items made by Faberge. So naturally many people think Faberge is the eggs. But now I know that's not true!! And that's why I loved the Faberge Museum. I didn't know that Faberge made everything possible -- table clocks, photo frames, barometers, medals, flowers, icons, lady fans, animal figures, etc, etc... I loved it! If you really want to have a better understanding of Faberge then don't miss this museum.

“A must in Baden-Baden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014

A small museum and photography are not allowed inside.Ticket price is high ,but the ticket it self is an artwork with real money paper and you can save the ticket for yourself. There are very attentive guides inside and they try to help in a polite manner.Every pieces are a great jewel.Really worth a detail visit in Baden-Baden.

“A must see! The museum opened my eyes to Faberge's immense creative variety.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

Only lazy and uneducated people think Faberge is just about eggs. Sorry, but I can't believe the silliness of some of the other reviews by people who wanted to see eggs. I don't have an art history degree, but I can easily go to Google and read that Faberge made about 250,000 items of which only a few dozen were Imperial Eggs. The Faberge Museum is absolutely excellent because it shows Faberge's incredible creativity and variety! And the price, 12 euros? Come on! That's how much it costs to go to the cinema. Don't miss this museum if you love art and jewelry! Yes, a small museum, but I spent two hours there because it has about 700 items, and each is a treasure. Great tour guides in English, German and Russian. And they're free! Lastly, this museum does have Faberge eggs! Three of them! The Birch egg was the last one made for the Czar before the Russian Revolution. (I've visited a few times because the museum frequently gets new acquisitions, so there's always reason to go back).

“Don't expect Fabergé eggs”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013

The small museum shows some information on the Fabergé house and displays a number of their items, but just two eggs were displayed! I think it was not worth the entrance price.

“A little disappointing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Assumed there would be more eggs!! Bit expensive for what you see, but we enjoyed seeing the intricate work of Faberge.
