We've been visiting this restaurant every time we went to Megeve, in the course of the last 10 years. We were never disappointed in any degree. The menu has a wide selection of courses. Fondues and the egg with lent ice and morilles mushrooms are fantastic here. The dessert that used to be around for 8 years: chocolate with mango and ice cream, was taken from the menu recenty, but wasn't changed for anything worthwhile.
We love this place. We know the chef very well. Though the waiters are changing continuously, one of them and the chef are always there, to create this homely atmosphere of an old, wooden chalet.
I really recommend this place to everyone visiting Megeve. It doesn't have as much pretensions for Haute Cuisine, as Flocon de Sel does, but rather they're offering unforgettable simple cuisine montagnard.
