We booked here via email before we set off for Lyon. We booked a table for 8pm on a Sat night in late November. After a nice walk from Carlton Hotel we found the restaurant on a hill in the silk workers area. We were one of the first people there, but by 9pm the place was full and they were turning people away. We sat in the conservatory where you can see across Lyon. The staff were brilliant - spoke great English and happily explained the parts of the menu that we couldn't understand. We ordered from the set menu for 25 euros - ravioli and liver 'cake' for starters, fish and rabbit for main, creme brule and local cheese for after. The food was gorgeous - tasty and presented well. We also had a 'pot' of wine for 10 euros and champagne. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice, there was a buzz of chat, it hit the balance of being a romantic restaurant and a nice place for groups to eat out. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - I don't know why it isn't higher up in the rankings!
