I stayed in the Radisson SAS with my partner, who was working.
The hotel is the tallest hotel in europe, and can be seen from almost anywhere in the city, and is also well known to everyone if you get lost! The reception staff are pleasant, and the porter staff are very helpful and friendly.
Our room was on the very top (39th) floor of the hotel, and the views were spectacular, especially at night. However, the rooms are a bit out dated and need re decorating, but are clean. Our room, as well as another of my partners collegues, was very hot, the air conditioning does nothing to cool the room down, making it very hard to get a comfortable nights sleep. When we complained to reception, they gave us a fan.
The hotel is in a good location, right above the Part deuix shopping center. There are tram and bus stops directly outside the hotel, which go straight into vieux lyon, which is beautiful.
I would recommend this hotel for a short stay, but if staying for longer than 4 days i would prefer to stay somewhere more comfortable.
