I visited the HD (Happy Days) Diner with my partner. We were seated immediately and handed a menu, then left to choose for what felt like an inordinately long time.
I ordered a Cherry Pepsi and got Dr Pepper. It took a while to get the attention of the staff to change the mistake, though it was done without quibble.
I asked for a Hot Dog, and was told it was not available, so I settled for a Colorado burger, which was very good indeed, and our order came through in reasonable time.
We ordered Nachos, which didn't turn up. Again we waited to get the attention of the waiter. He then shouted the order through to the kitchen, and the nachos turned up five minutes later. The waiter informed us that they were "on him", which was nice of him. They were pretty good, though not hot enough for my liking.
When we had finished we waited a long time again to get the attention of the waiter for the bill. I paid in cash, which was taken and then left with a waitress who was sat at the bar eating her own burger and fries. My change wasn't returned to me until she had finished her meal.
The decor was good. The music was a good touch, and the menu was extensive (albeit not available). It wasn't particularly good value for money, considering how slow and sloppy the service was, but the food was more than edible.
