At first glance this looked like a nice little japanese restaurant. It turned out to be a huge disappoinment. We sat at some bar stools near the entrance, overlooking the kitchen (or the 40 sq ft that should go as kitchen) This was not a good idea. Seeing the sweaty amateur cook trying to get everything out in a way too small and dirty kitchen already made us lose much of our appetite.
After half an hour we were finally able to place our orders. We wanted to order "edamame", but the waiter told us it would take very long to prepare. We told her we didn't mind the wait and after some hesitating and mumbling she suddenly told us we couldn't order it.
All ramen they serve is made from a meat-based broth. One person from our party is vegetarian, so she wanted to order a vegetarian dish. After going through quite some options on their menu, it turned out they only wanted to serve ramen, and made it clear in a very rude manner.
If you only have one poor cook and no decent kitchen and you only want to serve one dish, don't put the rest on the menu!!!
