“Cheap and handy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Just needed to get a quick bite to eat without travelling too far away from the station. The service was attentive and although the food wasn't top cuisine it was very tasty and good value for money. The menu is mainly Italian with pizza's and pastas the majority of choice.

“Good food close to train station”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

In Lyon on business trying to catch lunch before our train departed we chose Le Tramway. They have a lot of seating with seats outside in the front and back and then a few indoor seats. The outside seats were all under huge umbrellas. The menu offers up a good selection. I chose a pizza and my colleague chose the plat de jour which turned out to be a mixed grill of beef and chicken served with a green salad and fries. The fries were a little under cooked. He enjoyed the meats and the salad. My pizza was ham, mushrooms and egg. It was good and plenty big. Prices are reasonable considering location. The place was also fairly busy; again I believe this is due to the close proximity to the train station and a mall across the street. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is nothing to write home about. According to the business card it is open seven days a week.
