“This place is awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

You cannot go to Lyon and not go here. Allow some time to get around it all it seems to be endless. It is great for all ages and the way it is laid out doesn't make it feel too crowded. I think it has something for everyone here kids and adults alike.

“Good value especially on a rainy day if you have kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

There are 8 floors - a mixture of cinema and minature. Worth looking round if you have a spare 90 minutes and perfect if it is raining! Some interesting special effect pieces and costumes! We paid for a ticket each in the box office area and then no one asked to see it!

“Don't Miss It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Been here 3 times and each time I am fasicinated by the display. It's worth going at a time when the museum may be less crowded since when you view is through a window. Really intricate display of movie sets and a wide array of mise en scene.

“Great for kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

A great little museum, best for kids as once you get past all the movie props (and many of those are replicas) it gets to be a bit boring.

“More than we expected - well worth a visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

The museum is, as people have said, a combination of cinema props, costumes and other equipment and then works of art with miniatures on the upper floors. The two things are actually very different, but both are interesting and worth visiting. The bottom level is devoted to full sets and is really well done, whereas the upper levels are all displays. We had a really fun time at this museum, although unfortunately there are a *LOT* of stairs, as there are some five levels. We had to take a little break now and then.

Worth visiting - I recommend it.
