“I've already booked for the next skiing season...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Last March, was the second time I stayed in this hotel and ... I've already booked for the next skiing season...
This is a very good three star hotel, very well located in the village centre, quite convenient for skiers, as it is less than five minutes far from the gondolas to La Croisette or La Loze, and to return, there is a trail that ends up in front of the hotel, on the other side of the road that passes by.
The owners and the hotel staff are very kind and professional.
There is a convivial atmosphere in the hotel and the rooms that I´ve occupied were well fitted out, clean and bright, having large windows and balconies facing the mountain.
The breakfasts are acceptable and up to standard, but the dinners are excellent.
In the basement the hotel has a fitness and relaxation area and a ski room with boot warmers.
Wifi is provided for free for the costumers.
On the way to refinement, nevertheless, some details could be improved, as the breakfast variety, some shower water mixer taps and the quality of the wifi, mainly in the common areas.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay. It is very well appointed with spacious rooms (large by European Ski resort standards) and nice bathrooms with l'occitane toiletries. Great friendly bar and lounge with a very good restaurant. I can recomned staying half board - the food is great and the value unbelieveable for 4 courses.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful and the owner is really down to earth. Nothing is too much trouble - even arriving at 7 am on the day of check-in and leaving at 3pm on the day we check out having been allowed to have a shower in the spa before we drove home.
I'd argue that this hotel is better than some of the 5 star hotels in 1850!

Highly recomended

Room Tip: It doesn't metter if you're in the main hotel or across the road in the annex. All the rooms...

We stayed In la tania and walked to Le praz for a drink at this hotel. 16 euro for a hot wine and pint of beer. When my wife later questioned the barman in front of the manager about the cost if a vin chaud and beer, it came to much less than I had been charged. Be careful in this place, you will be ripped off by bar staff if they think they can get away with it .

We have been skiing in Courchevel for many years staying in a hotel in 1550. This was our first visit to Les Peupliers and we will certainly return. Great food, lovely staff and a real family run hotel with attention to detail which made for a wonderful holiday.

Having already provided a review of Les Peupliers from 2010, I feel duty bound to provide an update following a further stay this season.

On this occasion I was accommodated within the chalet building across the road from the main hotel and can, again, testify to a supreme level of service within a comfortable and warm living space. The room was decorated and finished to the same high standard as within the hotel as well as providing wonderful views out across Le Praz and the lift station. The ultimate draw to staying within the chalets however is true door-to-door skiing. As it has a separate boot room within its cellar, crossing the road is no longer part of the beginning or end to the day meaning a more streamlined effort to and from the slopes.

The quality of staff within the restaurant and bar is still of the highest level, as are the wonderfully personable and friendly management. The basement snug of "Norby's" is the perfect place to spend a wintry evening.

An excellent restaurant with an extensive but expensive wine list(it is Courchevel). We never had to wait long to be served in the restaurant and the waiters were very friendly.Very close to the ski lifts. Comfortable room and very quiet at night. Not for people who want a nightlife.
The staff didn't really have time to speak as it was Christmas week and they were very busy. However nobody asked us if we were enjoying our stay. Twice we arrived back mid afternoon to find our rooms had not been done and when the maid arrived had to leave the room so she could clean it.The shower panel didn't fit well to the bath and each time we had a shower the bathroom was absolutely flooded with water. The après ski bar was very dimly lit and it was also difficult to find a waiter to order drinks.
I have been to this hotel in the summer period when they have not been so busy.

Room Tip: Rooms not on the roadside are quieter.

I recently visited Les Peupliers for a pre Christmas Ski trip. This hotel was fantastic in every way, shape and form. Brilliant food, service with a smile and that lovely warm, cosy ambience that one would expect from an alpine ski hotel. The hotel were even happy to bend the rules and serve dinner to my injured girlfreind from the room. To make things better, this hotel is very honestly priced and will save you from paying an arm, leg and organs at 1850.
