I like visting France because deep inside I'm a bit of a Francophile and enjoy trying to practice my basic French, but no Francais ici. The UK staff were really bright, considerate and helpful. The guests appeared to be almost all from the UK too. So despite missing my fix of French it made for a very convivial atmosphere lubricated by 4:30pm coffeee and cakes, 7:00pm Champagne and canapés followed by a five course dinner. Most guests fell into easy conversation with each other.

The property itself is just off the Bellecote piste as others have reported. It really is very easy to get to. The public areas are quite chic. Our room was adequate, but just a little on the small size considering what we take with us, but not a deal killer.

There was plenty of food at breakfast and dinner. We never had all five courses at dinner, but it was nice to have a choice of courses. I would describe the food as good rather than excellent. The odd course was a little overcooked.

Overall, a very good hotel, but not a great hotel, however you could always pay more somewhere else! ;-)

Just returned from an excellent trip at this hotel in between Christmas and New Year. For us it was a great location just a few strides across the road and you were on to the main slope where you ski down to the lifts and centre. It was peaceful though as it was out of the main centre. The staff were excellent and whilst we found the 5 curse dinner too much the quality of the food was very good. Although not much int he hotel in terms of amenities it had a very relaxing ambiance which is just what we needed after a day of skiing. Not only would I recommend this hotel we are trying to book it again.

i will start be saying this has become an insanely expensive place to ski and is now devoid of atmosphere as most chalet owners use it as a plaything and rarely use it.... we went the week before xmas and the furst night the waiting staff didnt have their best day extremely slow...it took over 1 hour to be served main courses after starter,,,had to serve owns wine etc,,,after usual polite moan ,,things were ok,,, the evening dinner was superb most night plenty of choice etc,,,breakfast for a ski resort was top class sometimes they ran out of eggs but at least it shows they use fresh ingredients....the room was on the small side but not unusual for a skiresort bathroom was fine and overall this hotel is well fitted out,,,huge plus side is the great bar which negates the need to have ones wallet surgically removed by visiting any of the local bars that are simply ridiculously priced so thumbs up likewise the hotel offers a great lunch terrrace menu which can be eaten inside again a fraction of the other restaurants on the piste.....as for location this hotel is 30 secs walk from an easy blue/green run which leads to the main chailifts at 1800....the staff all seemed young and keen and most seemed to be doing a gap year but were very very helpful overall another fantastic stay and i would most certainly stay here again

I stayed here on a work trip for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and comfortable but quite basic. The staff are all English so there are no communication problems and they are all quite young and friendly. The breakfast was very basic and it was the same every day when I was there, but it was the last few days of the season. the evening meal is 5 courses with a good choice (orders must be given at breakfast), good presentation and every meal was very tasty.
Hotel is based not to far from the piste.

Just back from a four day late ski trip to HStL, Courcheval. We had a great time and the hotel/staff/food were great. Big thanks to Danielle and the team. Ian

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this great little chalet hotel just off one of the main pistes in Courchevel creating an incredibly friendly and relaxing atmosphere. After the breakfast of your choice you can return after a hard days sking for tea, followed by champagne and canapes before a sumptious five course dinner. We were very impressed with the food and efficiency of the kitchen. All the staff are delightful to talk to and very charming, working very well as a team. The rooms were warm and cosy and well maintained. We would definitely return. Our stay was a real treat.

The hotel is really in a very good location. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant serve really delicious and high quality food which we enjoyed very much. Staff like Abigail and Michael are like a ray of sunshine -- cheerful and nothing is too much trouble for them! However, the housekeeping team must really pull up their socks. Our bedroom carpet is very dusty and we noticed the room was not vacuumed at all during our stay becos we left a piece of tissue(as a test) on the floor on day 1 and it's still there on the last day(LOL) and be warned that the room is very very very warm despite the radiator is switched off!
