“Ski crazy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

Like others giving too much good vibes probably makes places harder to secure next year! However its 3 star is'h accommodation so don't expect too much on the decor and some people found lack of windows in bar/restaurant a little claustrophobic. The rooms have loads of storage space and really comfortable beds. Always hot water for bath/shower and for three days I nearly ski'd into the foyer!

Inghams staff were amazing and food/wine equally as good. For location, relaxing atmosphere and the 3 valleys on your doorstep, its as good as it gets!!

Room Tip: Rooms numbered 200---- are on bar floor so can be noisier

I also feel reluctant to share this with you. Great staff, food fab, 4 course meals, wine drinkable, soup and cake when you get off the slopes, lovely atmosphere. Rooms a bit tired but that doesnt matter. Skiing to your front door in such a great place makes up for it all.

We stayed here as part of an Inghams Ski holiday and must admit that the hotel has seen better days. The rooms are large enough (for a ski hotel) but they really are getting a bit tired.

Having said that, the staff were amazing and did everything possible to make our stay a success. The food was excellent and the choice of complimentary wine a nice surprise.

Location is amazing, straight out of the door to the main lift system for the resort.

But, boy is Courchevel expensive!

Room Tip: A twin room has three beds in so can easily sleep 3 kids.

I am torn from giving a tue and therefore great review as I want this hotel to be my secret and not encourage more people to use it!!
We were here the last week of february. The hotel is slightly tired but very clean with the best staff you could wish for. Rooms spicy, with fridge, lots of storage, Just yards from the lifts/bubbles it is the perfect location. Nice little bar with down to earth staff. Can not fault it for a perfect ski holiday. Staff try so hard to make it enjoyable and do anything to help.
the town is plush, some great restaurants to treat yourself to lunch etc, and the shopping, to put it into perspective, the hotel is between the Bvlgari & the Louis Vuitton shops!
Only fault I could pick was the free dinner wine could be a bit more drinkable (although we gave it our best shot), but everything from the afternoon tea, to aperitifs & pre dinner nibbles, excellent dinner and super breaks
fast (we have everything from scrabbled egs & salmon to full english), plus of course the standard breakfast buffet including delicious porridge. Thanks to Inghams and the great staff at Anemones, we are already planning our return.
TIP - DO NOT RISK FLYING THROUGH CHAMBRY, FREQUENT DELAYS DUE TO WEATHER, GENEVA MORE ACCESSIBLE AND JUST 2HRS 15 IN THE MORNING

Room Tip: i was on the 1st floor down (room 211), no complaints with that, far enough away from the bar not to...

Stayed here the first week of February and had a brilliant time. There were 45 in our group this year and many of us felt it was the best place we had stayed so far. The staff and reps couldn't do enough for us and were pleasant and friendly at all times. The food was lovely with a variety of choices and our glasses were constantly kept full with complimentary wine. There was also complementary coffee, tea and chocolate in the bar from 10am with cakes and soup served from 4pm. It was easy to pop back and make use of this as they had no problem with us walking around the hotel in our ski boots. Take your slippers as the bar was that cosy and comfortable it made you feel like you were at home and don't waste valuable luggage weight on chunky jumpers as they are very generous with their heating.
The slopes were very well maintained and the signage was excellent. I am not the most confident skier and usually worry about going to far away from base but this was not a problem here. I recommend the night skiing. It was great fun and a wonderful experience. Those of us who needed to hire equipment did so from White Storm and again received excellent service. All in all the service, hotel and the area left my family and I feeling it was the best ski holiday we have ever had and we hope we get to visit again.

Room Tip: Room 104 - My husband and I had this room along with our 17 year old son. It was perfect for us bec...

Stayed here in the first week of February. This is quite large accommodation for the chalet experience but it worked really well. Excellent location, seconds from the piste and lifts. The food was excellent and plentiful, as was the wine with dinner. All the staff were so friendly and very hard working. Whilst we agree with other reviews that the decor is dated and a few DIY jobs needed, you can't really expect any more for the price. It is kept very clean and for us that is more important, after all we came to ski, not luxuriate in a fancy hotel! If we come back to courcheval it will most likely be here.

Room Tip: Try to avoid being opposite the restaurant or the bar

I stayed at this hotel in Jan 2014 for skiing with Inghams. We chose it from reviews on tripadvisor and can't fault it. It has the best position in the resort of 1850 without having 5 stars. It's about 30 meters from the bottom of the pistes and lifts (3 bubble lifts) and a short ski down to a chair that takes you to the top of the mountain where you can get over to the Meribel valley for the rest of the 3 Valleys. On either side of the hotel are shops of Chanel, Bvlgari, Louis Vitton & Dior so great for window shopping for my budget!
The hotel layout is downstairs from the entrance and on 3 floors (no lift) with ski store by entrance and you can take your boots to your room. On floor -1 is the cosy bar with tv and most of the rooms, on floor -2 is the dining room, which is too small to hold all guests so dinner is held over 2 sittings. The dining room has no windows and was rather too warm during dinner as they have had a problem with air con (or whatever) so had a small free-standing cooling unit which wasn't sufficient, so just wear a t-shirt etc for dinner.
Our room was on the -2 floor (room 308). Although billed as a twin it actually had 3 beds set up, we folded up the spare bed to make more room. White cotton sheets with a thin duvet. The rooms overlook the rear of the hotel which is a quiet street with the bus depot. The room was too warm for us so we had to leave the outer sliding door and inner door open a jar at night. There is a balcony which accesses the whole width of the hotel but we weren't worried about security as its the floor above shops/estate agent. There was never any noise from bars etc at night as there are none close by. However, we could hear snow ploughs & buses in the morning. There was tv in the room which had BBC1&2 and a couple of other English channels, there was also a fridge in the room. There was a wardrobe and plenty of shelves/drawers and a radiator to warm boots on. The bathroom was quite small but had a full size bath with shower over and shower curtain and a heated towel rail and a hairdryer. Constant hot water. The toilet was separate.
Food: Buffet breakfast had fruit juices, fruit, cereal & porridge, croissants & toast, cheese & ham, yogurt and hot; bacon, sausage, egg, tomato. In addition to all this there was a daily hot special.
Afternoon tea from 4pm had cakes & biscuits, soup & bread, tea, coffee & cocoa (not to my taste but I took sachets of hot chocolate) and hot wine for Eur 3. Served in the bar.
Before dinner, canapés & aperatifs (different each day) in the bar.
Dinner: You choose which sitting you prefer and which food you want at breakfast. There was a choice each day of 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 desserts (+1 veg option). The food was excellent, although the main tended to be meat (or fish) & 2 veg every day but was well cooked & presented. There was free wine during dinner and our glasses were refilled before you could empty them!
The staff were exceptionally attentive and couldn't do enough for us, as was Rosie the Ingham's rep.
The décor is a little dated but the hotel is clean & warm. I will return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms are quite small but there is a choice of double, twin (inc pushed together) or triple, a singl...
