“Nice Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013

The hotel is walking distance from the central market area..hardly 10-15 minutes and walking from the place where you can catch the cab to go to L'Aiguille du Midi..Rooms are good..breakfast buffet is very good..and dinner is served without much waiting (had ordered plat du jour)..overall a nice place to be..since was on business trip didnt have much time to enjoy the spa and the heated pool

Room Tip: I got the one facing the roundabout and when i wake up in the morning i have a beautiful view of the...

Nov is the low season in Chamonix, so we had a work retreat here. It's a great spot for it. Slightly out of the way from the centre of town, you didn't feel like you were part of the tourist crush, but restaurants and shops were still a short walk away. The hotel deck looked up to mt blanc, and provided a nice sense of calm and cozy yet open space. Breakfast was good variety, lunches were good quality, and snacks at morning and afternoon teas were truly yum. The fireplace in the bar kept us warm when the cold set in. And the rooms were perfectly comfortable. Not sure that I'd stay here for a holiday, but it was a good spot for a work retreat.

We went during off season so the hotel was empty and rates were cheap. All restaurants in the hotel were closed and as it was off season there wasn't much close to the hotel either so not very conveniently located for us. Room was ok, spacious and provided slippers and bathrobes which was good! Clean and neat. Didn't like the carpet, who knows if it's clean after everyone stepping on it and it's texture was so fluffy. Hot tub was not hot enough, just warm. Overall ok but not sure about high season!

Great hotel - bedrooms on small side but very well decorated, comfortable and spotless. Very modern en-suite bathroom with a separate WC. Amazing spa (open all year) - the heated pool has underwater lighting (great at night) and the jacuzzi looks onto Mont Blanc. Walkways lead to separate steam room, sauna and changing room. Large hammocks are great fun. Bath robes and slippers are provided in room. There is limited underground car parking (cost) but we parked opposite in free public car park. Very easy walk to town centre (5 mins) and very near the Aguile de Midi cable car station. Room overlooked road but very quiet. Staff all very friendly and professional.

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2013. Honestly I think it was great, starting with the fact that we loved our stay in Chamonix, the check in was the fastest one. We received a room facing the pool, the view was nice.
We parked our car in the free parking space near the hotel, also, they said that we have the option to park our car in their garage surcharge. The room was clean, a little bit small but nothing to be an inconvenience for us.
We had drinks at their bar one night, and they have a great barman.
It was close to Auguille du Midi station, and also at walking distance by the centre.
Without any doubt we will return in Chamonix and we will stay at this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights using this as home base for daily drives. The rooms are average, but the view from the balcony is spectacular. The food is excellent and a great value using the half board. The front desk staff is great as well as the dining room personel.

Room Tip: superior room with a view balcony

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great place to stay as it's walking distance from the lovely town and attractions. Clean and spacious room with mountain view. There are several eateries as well as laundry closeby. If you want to hike, there are several trails but please do your research. As for the town, it is always picturesque in autumn and winter..our favourite place to visit in france.
