“Seen from the top of the Aiguille de Midi cable car”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

fantastic views of Mont Blanc from the top of the Aiguille De Midi cable car. Really amazing. Great to go up after a good day's skiing. Lift closes at 4:30pm so you have to get up before in order to have a short walk about and catch the views. We didn't stay too long but there is a cafe if you want to have a drink..... Easy to get to in central Chamonix and free on the unlimited chamonix lift pass.

“Breathtaking views and charming village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Spent a day in Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Charming village with canals and views of the mountains all around. Took the cable car up Mont Blanc which was a great experience. So refreshing to be up so high and look out. Very cold up there, obviously, but there is a cafeteria to warm up in.

Incredible considering this is the tallest point in Europe. A breathtaking experience! Views all over the Alps including Switzerland and Italy.

“Chamonix and Mont Blanc”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

The tour was Terrible due to bad weather and not properly organised.Guide not even provided the cell no in case of emergency.Booked through Viator. Organised by Key tours(Geneva).I had joined on 29.03.Most of the Cable-car was closed and the train also. It was a costly tour (USD 239.54). Lunch at the L'M brasserie was excellent.Place was beautiful, but due to weather it was terrible(Ice,snow, rain, wind). The operator should cancel the trip in advance due to bad weather.

“What a charming place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Located at the base of a number of differing ski slopes this town provided the most wonderful of settings. We were in a large group of 10 and the choice of restaurants, bars and shops were very diverse and the town had a real buzz to it. It had a real up-market feel to it but the bars and clubs were as lively as you might expect with any ski resport as far as the apres ski is concerned. First time here but will definitley go back.
