“Crap service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

Give this place a pass. Just another restaurant that is doing its utmost to prey on tourists. Disinterested, unfriendly staff. Expect a 15 minute wait for eggs. To be avoided.

“great dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

We ate dinner at this great restaurant and enjoyed every minute. The restaurant is located on a pedestrian only street and has both indoor and outdoors seats. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was fantastic. Every plate we ordered was very good and we will diffidently come back again.

“Relaxing lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

We went here for lunch on a recent visit to Chamonix. Lots of choice on the menu and lunch was very nice. We had Pizza and risotto and both were a good size and very tasty.

“Avoid at all Cost!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

Biggest tourist trap. Service was awful, my husband and I were actually scoffed at for only ordering drinks and a soup to share...as if our patronage was outputting. Then we were ignored the rest of the hour, tried to get our check four times, finally went down to front and asked another three times. 42 minutes from first asking to when we could finally leave. Missed our bus. Terrible experience, avoid at all costs!!!!

“Unfriendly staff, uncomfortable seating.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We were really hungry when looking for a place to eat. There were people having early dinner (it was around 5 pm) on the terrace so we thought this might be okay place because there were at least somebody eating.

We wanted to eat indoor to avoid smokers. We were offered table next to the door, we wanted to choose another table but waiter didn't allow us, although there was only one couple besides us and lots of free tables.

I ordered menu for 19 euros. Onion soup, cheese fondue and ice cream. Onion soup was filled with cheese and very salty. After eating cheesy soup I didn't feel like to eat the fondue. Fondue was salty again and served with really dry baquette. Ice cream was normal supermarket style. I felt so bad to pay 19 euros of this, when I basically ate only onionwater, bread and ice cream.

My spouse had lamb with alcohol sauce. He wanted to have something special and local. Before ordering it waiter told him "If you want to be simple take the burger and fries". My spouse told that no, he wants the lamb. Then the waiter asked "are you sure you like the alcohol sauce?" What an earth? The lamb wasn't good either. It didn't taste like lamb nor alcohol. It was served with tasteless cheese potatoes and boiled carrots.

We were so disapointed. Rude waiter didn't help us at all.The seats were very uncomfortable to sit. Tiny table for two with fondue set. And next to the main door. Not nice.

After few hours we went to next door's Midnight Express (M E was great!) and ordered burgers because we were so hungry. Avoid this place!
