“Very good, creative food in a casual atmosphere with enthusiastic, friendly service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

This is a casual place, but we had two meals (one lunch, one dinner) during a weeklong climbing holiday in the Chamonix area and I think this was the best, most creative but unfussy food we ate.

“Fabulous food in a cosy setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Best restaurant in Chamonix in our opinion. We went twice in a week it was that good. Service was fabulous from both hostesses, who made us so welcome. Food is excellent. Inventive yet hearty. Much of their meat is cooked sous-vide, so is juicy and tasty. All courses were very, very good.

Tiny restaurant seating about 24 so book in busy seasons I guess.

Seating inside and outside in summer. Varied menu which changed slightly between times we went which was a pleasant surprise.

“small but big on service & quality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

a local recommended this tiny place which are generally great recommendations. It was in this instance, too. We had a large group & our server was friendly, helpful & joined in the fun! Food was excellent & we were pleased to find this little gem off the beaten path!

“Lovely View, Lovely Food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Went for a late brunch and nearly missed out on the brunch menu, but the waitress was kind and let us have it anyway. It wasn't really french food (more American) but still very nice and tasted delicious. My mum and I both had a bacon and scrambled egg bagel, which was very big but still very yummy. Had hot chocolate too but thinking back on it, it would have been better to have had a more thirst quenching drink. Prices were average for a tourist place like Chamonix, but there is not much you can do about it. Would definitely return, it is a little gem.

“Delicous Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

We went for brunch and it was 100% worth it. Don't go if you want french food, most of the dishes are American or British (at least for brunch), but they're really delicous. I had pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and it was served perfectly, the bacon crispy and the pancakes sweet. The hot chocolate was slightly too bitter for me but that might just be my taste. The service was friendly and they spoke good english. My sister had a breakfast baguette and it was ginormous! Good value for money, not amazing but would definitely go again. A well deserved certificate of excellence!
