Stayed four nights 30th July to 3rd August 2012. Room with double bed very compact. As a couple we needed to adopt a one-way system to get to the bathroom or use the wardrobe. Toilet is separate from the bathroom and could prove difficult to use for a larger person in a confined space. Bed very comfortable. But what the hotel room lacks in space, it is more than made up for by the staff who are very helpful and welcoming. The location is only a few minutes walk from the station, which is currently undergoing substantial modification. It is also a short walk from the beautiful old town of Annecy. Just follow footpaths alongside the canal. As mentioned by other reviewers, there are vagrants encountered on occasions along these pathways, but we were never approached or felt threatened in any way, and they are well it at night. We booked through booking.com, and although there was no booking cancellation fee, the fee was first debited at the time of booking then credited back to my credit card. This resulted in a hidden and somewhat sneaky difference of £21.86. No doubt due to currency exchange rates, but a sneaky charge nonetheless. Annecy old town is a A SHEER DELIGHT!!

Booked this hotel because it was close to the Station and handy for early flights at Geneva. The Hotel was comfortable.. We had originally booked on a room only basis but the breakfast were so good we had breakfast all week and evening meal most evenings The Salmon was the only disappointment. The Steak was superb. The restuarant staff were very friendly and helpful. However we felt it was a bit mean to charge £7 a day to use the Jaccusi.

This is a budget hotel, and I took it only because it was a last minute plan and didn't have a lot of options to choose from. The hotel is just about OK, with tired looking but spacious rooms. The location looks pretty central, or close to it, when you look in the map, but for some reason there isn't much on this street at all - possibly because it's kind of the exit of the town to go to the highways. It's a short walk from the train station, and about the same to get to the edge of the old town. Luckily for me, I spent almost all the time outside the hotel so didn't have much to look or complain about.

The staff is pretty helpful, but maybe they are not the best informed. I had to walk down to the tourist information and the train station for my onward travel information. Not that I expect them to know everything.

All in all, a budget hotel that delivers what it promises. It must be good value for money in off-peak season, but next time I am in Annecy, I would plan in advance and look for a place that is more in town so to speak.

We found our room too small for 3 beds and not very clean. But it had a very big terrace and not a bad view. The hotel is out of the crowd in the center of the city with a distance of 10-15 minutes walk. As the streets of Annecy are really nice this walking distance does not bother. The parking of hotel is very small if you have a big car.
