This is a very nice site with grass pitches on different levels and if you are lucky (as we were) you can have a pitch with a view of the lake in the distance. One of the best things about this site for us was the fact that you can walk into Annecy. If you have never been to Annecy (as I hadn’t) – the old town on the banks of the river Thiou is definitely worth a visit. If you use the exit at the back of the campsite near the chalets, it is only about 0.8 mile to walk – easy going down, but quite steep coming back.
The site has a small shop/bar/café which serves pizza, quiche, burger, sausage and of course chips – also English breakfast. There are two sanitary blocks but the more modern looking one was locked whilst we were there. In the block we used, the ladies have 4 showers, 6 toilets and 6 private washbasins – the toilets have seats but no toilet paper. My experience of the showers were that they were good with a strong flow but my husband said he had to keep his finger on the percussion valve all the time in the 3 showers that he had whilst we were there.
We had pitch 32, cost 21.50€ per night – no tax.
We would happily return.
