“If you want experiment the concept of "Cheap", this is your hotel.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

The price you pay is low, comparing with other alternatives, but please don't expect everything works or all employees understand the concept of service.
For example, our shower was clogged with hairs and the solution was with a knife from breakfast.
Our question was ... what they do later on with this knife?

And we ask to the employees for not entry in our room for reparations without our presence ... nice smile and a "of course" as a answer but later on ... they went to the room without our presence.

Customer is not first in this case.

Cheap doesn't meant that ... sorry.

Room Tip: Review the room you check. Don't expect value it is a price thing.

This is a no frills stop over. The bed room and bathroom, minimal and clean. Comfortable bed. So far so good. The huge problem was getting into this hotel room. We had said we would ariive at 23.00 hours. We had the booking code. What could go wrong? The gate did not open. We finally located the entrance to the hotel. The check in machine did not work, the code was not excepted. Fifth try it did work. New code to get into the hotel. No it didn't work. 2 other couples arrived, their code did not work. Finally another guest manged to get in. No staff. Found the room and yes my new code did work;-) Slept well, basic breakfast included in the very reasonable price.

Room Tip: If the code works, this is a perfect stop, sleep and go hotel.

The location is convenient for the town, supermarket and motorway. Plenty of parking. Room was clean, bed was comfy and access to internet was handy. The town is afew minutes drive away. Would stay there again. Very good value for money and an improvement on Etap. Dont know what others were complaining about. Etap always had thin towels and they are bigger than the ones in F1.

On a low budget ski trip to the resort of Savoie grand Revard I stayed in this hotel with my two teenage children.

The hotel for sure is low budget. We only paid EUR 39 per room per night. The beds were more comfortable than expected. Usually the beds in France are rather spartan, these were nice.
The water of the shower was of enough pressure and nice and warm. The wifi was okay, staff nice enough for a low budget hangout and the location of the hotel well based with respect to supermarket, pėage and the mountains. Another great part is the secure parking lot.

There are some negatives too though.
We had asked for a room with 3 single beds. There are only 2 of those available in the entire hotel, both smoking. The first room assigned was so smelly that I didn't want to put my two asthmatic kids in those so we settled for the second.
As the hotel welcomes smokers and the French still smoke a lot, the entire hotel smelled like a bar from the 30s.
I've seen some reviews about renovation of the rooms. Apparently our room (number 12) hadn't been renovated as I didn't notice this to be true.
The towels are really really thin so should you really need a nice and fluffy towel; bring your own!

We don't complain however. EUR 39 is a really good deal so should you just need a place to sleep, a shower/bath to feel fresh and don't mind the smell of cigarettes this budget hotel is a good deal. Hey, it brings back your student travel days when you stayed in youth hostels! Great memories!!!
