Ahh... November in Provence. What a delightful time of year to be in the south of France...no crowds, now waiting in lines, lower prices everywhere, and mild autumn weather. This is one way to beat the global downturn in our economy. Provence Paradise and William Moore, the proprietor make the visit a marvelous experience. The accomodations are absolutely fabulous with each building appointed with artful interior design coupled with all the modern convenience one could ask for. William goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel comfortable. He will help plan little day trips making St. Remy your base. His knowledge trumps any guidebook you might read. It's like staying at the home of a friend....and by the time you leave, if not sooner, you will be his friend and yearn for your return to Provence Paradise.
How appropriately named! The autumn colors and mild weather were wonderful. We were able to eat outside and make our little day trips to the beautiful wine country, visit little towns along the Mediterranean, and explore perched medieval villages. The open air markets were delightful. We would sit by the fireside and sip some vintage French wine and taste local cheeses as we planned our trip for the next day. This property is a real "find".
I can't wait to return to this stellar hamlet in St. Remy.
Happy travels ...

The gardens are lush and a small stream makes its way toward the watermill, where water cascades to make the wheel turn slowly. International family environment.
