Very peaceful and atmospheric. Gives you a real feel for the setting within which Van Gogh worked during his year in the Asylum. There are 20/21 display boards along a trail leading from the Asylum to the centre of St Remy which are very informative. Only one of Van Gogh's pictures is actually owned by museums in Provence - and that's a picture of a railway carriage in Musee Angladou in Avignon
