“Sadly decorated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2014

This hotel has no car parc and the rooms were decorated in a old fashion 'grandma' style, I did not like it at all. The bathroom needs serious refreshing and double glazing windows. We had the view on the restaurant court which could get quite noisy.

Pros

Location - In the center of town. Walk to sights and lots of shops and restaurants.

Service - Emily was extremely helpful and spoke English. I read other reviews complaining that staff did not speak English (Well this is France and in the country) Though they did not speak English, I t thought they were helpful.

Restaurant - I regret not having a meal here. I did not find out until later that the restaurant is famous for their cooking/food. We pack light when traveling so we didn't feel that we had proper cloths to wear for the restaurant. You don't need to be super dressed up but we only had jeans.

Cons (But not that bad)

Room - Room, bed, and other stuff were old but functional. It's a Country Inn.

Parking - There's parking in this parking lot about 3 blocks away. Not too many parking spaces on the street but not impossible either.

Value - Not sure.

My son and I were referred here for a cooking class by our French teacher from Parlons en Provence . It was an amazing experience with fantastic food. By far the highlight of our visit. Fanny gave us a great lesson and then served us In the dining area of the outside courtyard. We loved it!

I stayed 2 days with my family and it was 2 beautiful days!
A really beautiful small hotel with a magnificent restaurant room, amazing old fashioned chimney , really classy. the food is french good cooking by the chef Fanny Rey, and the good surprise is the price of it! I think this place is as good as some high rated and well known restaurants. The manager and the staff are very caring. Not to be missed!
