“Beautiful. Worth the trek.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

This is one of the most beautiful places I have been to. It's a good trek (it takes about 45 minutes by foot once you reach the entrance to the national park), but completely worth it. We were able to get there wearing flip-flops, not the best choice but doable, sneakers would have been better The most important thing to bring is lots of water. It can get really hot, especially climbing back up the trail. The beach area can become very packed, so try and go early. Hint: The trail is marked quite clearly at the beginning, however you can easily miss the small path to the beach-it is marked in red. The trek going down the path is beautiful, however if you want to take a short cut, take the stairs which have been carved into the side of the mountain-it cuts the trek time down significantly.

“Clear water paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

A bit off a trek, this one.. But totally worth the view and the place. Starts off at Calanque de Sugiton and as you trek a bit more the terrain changes from rocky to pebble beaches to rocky again.. With people increasingly losing inhibition, the last part being nudist..

“Beautiful Calanques”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

The Calanques are beautiful. Its a very nice experience. Try to rent a boat. Some French can be very untruthful sometimes. Keep your reservation number, prices and the type of the boat in order not to get cheated by some.

“Stunning experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This place was absolutely gorgeous. Alright, you have to be prepared for 30-45 minutes walk, but the sight worth every step. People are talking about trekking shoes, well it's better, but we reached this place in flip flops practically without trouble. Only one thing you should not forget - water, plenty of water. Sugiton is kinda crowded during the hot summer days, but nothing major.
Take the bus No.21 from Metro Castelane to Luminy. The price is 1.80EUR/ one way, bus driver gives you the ticket. Or 1.50EUR in ticket machine.

“Simply fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Get ready to walk a lot, to sweat a lot, to discover step by step one the most wonderful sight of Marseille and to have a bath in a Caribbean-style water.
Don't forget your walking-trekking shoes! (I have seen many tourists walking up to there wearing simple summer flip flops - I think they are mad!!)
