“Great place to stop for coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

We only stopped by for coffee and a pastry, but this place was really nice. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good coffee and the menu's looked pretty good. Seemed to be a lot of locals relaxing with a newspaper which was nice.

“Everrrryzing iz bio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

French and English, mixed it and you get a funny accent...which brings me in good holiday mood.
I enjoyed good salads, they have a nice vegetarian lasagna and the rosé house wine is chilled and perfect.
Mind the sun and the clock... in April if you sit outside you might end up in the shade.

“Good bread and pleasant atmosphere, but otherwise lackluster.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

My wife and I stayed on this street for a weekend vacation in Marseille. This was the only place we could find that had a real breakfast and was open early (8am). The bread and preserves are great, and the outdoor seating is pleasant, being situated on a quiet(er) side street off the Vieux Port. But the service made us laugh... Both our coffees were wrong, and the soft-boiled eggs were basically served to us raw (whites still uncooked and translucent). Maybe it's just our American sensibilities, but we were less than impressed.
