You can choose between half-day (morning or afternoon) or full day tours. My husband and I chose the half-day tour around the area of Aix-en-Provence, where we visited two vineyards. Our host, Marion, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.
Chateau La Dorgonne:
This was my favourite of the two vineyards we visited. There were eight people in our tour group, but we had the wine tasting area to ourselves and Marion was able to serve the various wines to us. We had plenty of time to taste the five wines (one rose, two whites and two reds,) and had fun discussing what we were smelling/tasting, etc. We were also able to try two different types of olive oil and tapenade.
This was a much bigger vineyard and the grounds were beautiful, but the tasting area felt a little cramped, as there were already a couple of people there when our group of eight arrived. We tasted five lovely wines - two roses and three reds - but it seemed slightly more rushed than at the previous vineyard. However, the entire afternoon was very enjoyable.
