For our last meal of our Provence trip we treated ourselves to Le Forum, on the advice of our hotel (Lou Cigaloun), and had a superb meal, definitely the best of our trip.
The €29 menu gave us a nice 'amuse bouche', super starters of fois gras profiteroles and a crunchy crab dish, mains of veal and beef fillet (an additional €6), both cooked delightfully, and melting chocolate puddings. All were beautifully presented.
Service was perhaps a little slower than we would have preferred, mainly I suspect because of the arrival of a large party. Another negative point would be that we had to choose glasses of wine because we can't drink a whole bottle these days, and the restaurant's cellar had no halves. These are, however, minor points of criticism in what was, overall, an excellent dinner.
Together with a glass each of Côte du Rhone, therefore, our bill of €82 seemed to us be very good value.
