A lovely boutique hotel with an incredible view of Gordes. The hotel does not serve dinner every night but recommended a nexcellent restaurant in Gordes. Access to Gordes is by footpath and then road and took no more than 10 minutes easy walk. The breakfast served is excelent, specially served in the garden overlooking the panoramic view. The only small downside to this hotel is the difficulty in bringing luggage down the steps from the parking and then up the steps to the room. Although staff are willing to help, we would suggest a small overnight bag and luggage left in the car in the secured parking lot> Location for exploring Provence is excellent.

... and the Mas des Romarins is the place to enjoy it. Nice pool. Excellent breakfast spread. What we really enjoyed was being able to begin any number of hikes directly from the hotel. Check out the hikes to and around the Cistercian abbey. We ate dinner outside the Mas both nights- - once on the main square, which was outstanding. Skip the "homey" restaurant slightly outside of the center. The bathrooms at the Mas are newly done.

I looked at many hotels in the area and am so glad we stayed at Le Mas des Romarins. It had an amazing view of the village and the owner/staff were amazing.

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at Le Mas des Romarins. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner and she was so nice. We booked a Deluxe room and we stayed in the main house in a room on the second floor. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was expansive. The bed was very comfortable. We could see the village Gordes out of our window. We had dinner at the hotel the first night, and the dinner was truly delectable and filling. Our hostesses at dinner were so nice and all of the other guests were also very nice. Breakfast was also great. The eating area overlooks the beautiful village, and after breakfast, we walked down to the village which was having the Tuesday morning market. I highly recommend this place if you would like to get away from the larger townships and explore some of the smaller villages. The owner recommended other small villages that we visited and his recommendation was always excellent. Our only neutral comment is that our room was close to the kitchen and the hotel cleans until about 11PM at night. It did not bother me as the noise was very slight, but my wife is a light sleeper and goes to bed early. Otherwise, highly, highly recommended!
