Room was very nice although had a slight musty smell to it, we were in room 54. although the room location was great, had sound of running water in walls presumably when guests were using showers etc .Staff was pleasant but our chambermaid was downright nasty and surly. Paying that type of money you would like to know that all of the staff would have been on point. Beware of a charge for beach towel usage. Location was spectacular

I spent three nights at this lovley and cosy hotel in mid October 2012. The location is just right, perfect on the quai of this wonderful little town. I was greeeted by the very nice Magali at the check in, and the equally nice Olivier took care of the check out. All the staff I met was helpful and considerate.

The breakfast was a nice experience, with a great view of the small harbour. We even saw fisherman picking up fresh squid as a little morning show.

A plus for the very comfy beds, something really important.

The locations is great for excursions. Don´t miss to either walk or bike around Cap Ferrat, and to visit Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild there ( [--] )

I will definately try to return to Hotel Welcome and to Villefranche-sur-Mer!

We went to South of France for our honeymoon. We were looking for a location that is less crowded, romantic, amazing views, good food and wine. Villefranche - Sur-Mer is a very romantic town. It is located in the center very near Nice, Eze, St. Paul Du Vance, Grasse, Cap De Antibes, etc. You can rent boats right in front of this hotel. Since we were on our honeymoon, we got a room upgrade with a balcony overlooking the water. The rates were a little expensive especially we went on a high season July but it was worth it! I wouldn't recommend any hotels in Villefranche- Sur-Mer. Service was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and accommodating! They appreciate it if you make an effort speaking French which is not that difficult.

Our second stay at Welcome Hotel - and again we did not want to leave! The rooms are each full of charm and character, very clean and well maintained (including some recently updated rooms), nice amenities, comfortable beds. The views over the Mediterranean and the port are breathtaking.
It is the "4-star" service and the friendliness of all staff that is truly remarkable - from booking assistance with the reservation, to the fabulous front desk staff (Olivier is classic concierge), to the breakfast and bar service (Axel et al). The petit dejeuner (breakfast) is superb (the raspberry tarte still makes my mouth water) and the setting over the harbor exceptional.
Once you stay at Hotel Welcome, you will always want to return
