We had seen recommendations for this restaurant and found it on a walk round the area late afternoon. We took the opportunity to book for that evening at 8.30pm. By the time we arrived there were 2 outside tables left and those wanting a table without a booking were disappointed.
Several tables had arrived all at once so to make up for the wait an amuse bouche was brought to us of breadsticks with dip, nice thought.
We had the scallops and snail starters, both beautiful and well presented. We followed that with the sea bream fillets and tuna, again both beautiful and tasty. The 3 veg accompaniments were carrot & cumin puree, sandfire and mashed potato with olive oil, all great. My sea bream was perfect and so was Johns's tuna.
We chose a bottle of red at 22 euros which was really tasty and a carafe of tap water, chilled and free! Total cost 100 Euros. Excellent service from friendly waitresses and chef in the kitchen is superb!.
