What more can you say?? The Sube is at the best location in all of St. Tropez! Although not the nicest hotel during out stay, it was excellent due to the views and the people watching!

My friends and I reserved a triple room but were utlimately placed in a double with a cot. Not entirely surprising but a tight squeeze nonetheless. We were only at the Sube one night so it wasn't a problem. While the room left a bit to be desired (we were at the back of the hotel, outside and above the outdoor courtyard bar) we were only in our room to sleep!

The central location of the Sube made for easy shopping, checking out a boule match, watching the many sailors work on their boats, and to our delight, watching the filming of a French movie/TV show on a yacht just in front of the hotel. The bar at the Sube was perfect for grabbing a seat on the balcony and watching the day's events. We found ourselves there for several hours taking everything in.

As we found throughout our trip in France, due to the time of year (late October) many shops and restaurants shut down early. We were fortunate to find a small pizza place just around the corner from the hotel. The pizza was incredible and the atmosphere was great.

Parking was a bit expensive since there's no lot for the Sube. Be prepared to add around $40/day for parking. The lot was extremely full in October so I can only imagine what summer must be like!

Overall, the staff was nice, parking a bit of a challenge, the rooms could be updated a bit, but, no matter what concerns I had, you can't get past the location. Our visit was quite nice and I would recommend the Sube as the must-stay hotel in St. Tropez!

well...firstly when i arrived in St tropez i was very tired as i had just come off a cruise..

the hotel was very easy to find and it was in a great location. the staff were very friendly and they were very swift in showing me my room and i must admit i was very suprised..

when i entered the room it was remarkably clean and very well decorated. the bed and bedding were well presented. for the price and location this hotel was great value for money and was ideal for a nice relaxing holiday if you are someone who does not like to stay in a hotel for most of your hotel.

there is a nice bar and restaurant at the hotel but there are also many restaurants just a stone throw away. also directly accross the road you can see the boats dock.

The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Our one-night stay was on the final weekend of Les Voiles de Saint Tropez - the biggest sailing yacht regatta of the Meditterranean area - so the town was stuffed and the spectators and yacht crew were in the mood to party all night. Since our room was front and center facing the port, we had the most spectacular views, but also the most spectacular noise. Still, that was hardly the fault of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, but ask for a room with a garden view or bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. The Sube is without doubt the most conveniently located of all the St Tropez hotels.

If you enjoy a hotel in the middle of the action, the Hotel Sube is THE place to stay in St.-Tropez. We had a charming garret-room with great views of old-town St.-T, and spent early-evenings in the gorgeous bar on the 2nd floor. This is a great place filled with beautiful people, and has stunning views of the town and harbor. As many of St.-Tropez's hotels are on the out-skirts of town, I think the location of the Sube is superb, its rooms clean and spacious, and the staff friendly, un-assuming and very accomodating. The only draw-back is that parking is in a distant public lot, but the locals are OK with quick drop-offs in front of the hotel. Overall, a terrific place to enjoy all that is St.-Tropez!
