This restaurant is located in the hip and chic Hotel Byblos. The restaurant is contemporary, and the outdoor space is very Miami-esque. The staff spoke English and was very welcoming, professional, and efficient. We were immediately asked if we wanted a cocktail to begin the evening, and when we could not decide what we wanted, a cocktail menu was brought to us with several delicious sounding options. Once our drink order was placed, there was a flurry of activity to bring us bread, menus and the amuse-bouche. The amuse-bouche was a very beautiful and tasty artichoke/avocado combination that was a great way to begin our meal. We asked to see the sommelier who recommended the bottle of wine that we had initially considered. To begin our meal, my husband had the sushi combination roll (veggie and seafood) and I had a seafood ravioli dish (which was really like Asian inspired seafood dumplings). We both enjoyed our starters, but I think we enjoyed my choice a little more. We both had very fresh fish dishes for our main courses and shared a very plentiful and delicious dessert with four different chocolate preparations.
Based on our experience, I can see why this restaurant has gotten such good reviews.
