Reception girls were very helpful and informative. We stayed in a double room with a hill view which would've been lovely had it not been above the kitchens which kept us awake until 1am.
I went to reception and spoke to the Head of Reservations the next day if we could change rooms. She wasn't convinced it was necessary to move until I said it was unacceptable and she reluctantly moved us to another room. When we moved all our belongings and all the baby stuff to the new room we realised that the bathroom had a horrible drain smell and the plug in the Bathroom sink would not close. I went to reception to speak with the Head of Reservations again and she said it was not a reason to change rooms and that there were no other rooms available apart from our old room. The aircon then also decided to making dripping gurgling noises too. These problems were eventually all sorted out after a day of back and forth and having unpleasant and unnecessarily complicated conversations. Not ideal at all when you have a few days to explore and not to mention about keeping a 6 month old baby happy and in its routine.

Apart from these problems the hotel is well located, has good facilities and would be worth a stay. However, I strongly recommend some managerial and customer service courses for several people at this hotel.

Welcoming, friendly and providing a good service, we wished our three nights here were longer. Fantastic pool in the height of summer, and a delightful walk to Ste Maxime for good restaurants.

Modern, with spacious rooms. Charming staff. Rooms come with a terrace or balcony. The garden is beautiful. Go in low season - the place is serene then.

We spent a couple of nights in this hotel. It's a really nice hotel and it deserve absolute four stars. The hotel is nice located in the jardins with a lot of trees and you don't hear anything during the night. When you leave the hotel, you'll have a beautifull overview of the sea and the bay of St.Tropez. The centre of St.Maxime is only 10 minutes walking. Hotel staff is very helpfull and kindly. Also a large (free) car park. The rooms are fresh and nice decorated and all materials in a good quality. Breakfast buffet was more then enough and also diner in the hotel is from a very good quality. So an absolute tip ! (and no, I'm not working for the hotel ;-)

Perfect in every way. The staff were very helpful, the room was pristine and the pool area was huge with comfortable tilting loungers and umbrella's for everyone. The breakfast buffet was delicious, worth the £13 price tag; served on the pretty terrace overlooking the gardens and extensive grounds. No traffic noise anywhere but plenty of car carking spaces available. This hotel was full of natural light and very well mentained. I would definately recommend it to couples.

Room Tip: High Pool view rooms have lovely balconies and far reaching views towards the sea.

My husband, myself, our 4 year old son and 18 year old nephew stayed here from 8/13 until 8/19. The exterior and lobby of the hotel are very nice. We had connecting rooms, which was great, but the room was nothing special and needed updating. The staff is very friendly and helpful (except the night bartender who seemed to have an attitude). The pool is large, but very cold, so cold my son did not want to go in it and instead spent most of his time swimming at the indoor pool. The Kid's Club is great and under-used as my son was the only one in there at times. I think the girl who works there her name is Sandrine - she doesn't speak much English, but is very good with kids. The restaurant is very good and reasonable for the South of France. It's an easy walk to Maxime Plage (just go down thru the path and thru the gate and you will arrive at the beach). It is a long walk into town which I did not like, as I would have rather been closer to town. The traffic going towards St. Tropez was a nightmare - which is par for the course in this area for August. It's an easy drive to Aqualand which my son loved. All in all a nice hotel, but I prefer staying in St. Tropez.

Ws shared our holiday with two friends and had an amazing time. The room was cleaned regularly with fresh towels given. The service that we received was fantastic. Very pleasant staff and nothing was too much trouble. All staff were very tolerant when we were trying to converse in french and gave us some much needed help!!! The grounds are amazing and well maintained. We were however charged for a breakfast that we did not have and only observed this after our departure. The hotel is right beside a beach where there are two restaurants and within walking distance. We are smitten with this hotel and are already planning our next visit. This hotel should really warrant an extra star for its rating as it is worth every penny. Merci Beaucoupe !!!

Room Tip: We had the most fantastic room complete with balcony overlooking the amazing pool and gardens. it wa...
