“One of the most pleasant hotels we have ever stayed in!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

We decided to stay at hotel Victoria last minute as we visited Monte-Carlo but felt the price for accommodation were a little expensive for what we wanted. This beautiful and very friendly hotel is right across the beach and only 5 minutes drive to Monaco (monte-Carlo). When we arrive the hotel had very welcoming staff spoke who all spoke fluent English and had welcome drinks for us. They even brought our drinks up to our room so we didn't have to drink then in the lobby / bar area. The room was fabulous !!! Fully renovated, very spacious and immaculate! Plus there were a number of English TV channels too. Although we didn't need it the hotel room had been cater to people in wheelchairs with high toilet seats and a foldable seat in the shower. We loved the hotel so much we asked the stuff to stay another night however their hotel was closing that day over the quiet season. They then offered we could stay at their sister hotel just 3.5kms down the road in Menton for the same price we paid at Hotel Victoria. We were also very pleased with the excellent service from Hotel Napoleon. I would 100% recommend both hotels to anyone and would love to come back in the peak season. a big thank you to the wonderful stuff for making our stay very memorable. You were all a pleasure to deal with :) Jess and Mitch

Room Tip: We paid fort he standard rooms and were thrilled!

The hotel is located 100 meters from the beach and 3.5 kilometers from the center of Menton.

The room was large with a modern tasteful design and a nice terrace.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Our trip started in St Jean Cap Ferrat, we also visited Monaco, St Tropez, Cannes, Juan Les Pins, Antibes etc. while on our way to San Remo Italy we decided to stay on this beautiful hotel right across the street from the beach. The hotel was very modern and fresh. Very beachy! It was not difficult to find parking and we were super close to other beach towns around, it is also quite near the Italian border. The hotel is decorated in nice beach colors such as white, blues and greens. Although the hotel is not literally right on the sand, it is only across the street so our room view was straight to the beach. Awesome and highly recommended.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a recent business trip.
The rooms are fantastic, roomy, great facilities, clean and comfortable. It was a real pleasure to return every evening after a really hard day's work in Monaco. The rooms were made up every day and to such a high standard. The bathroom boats a huge shower area and the room itself was plenty big enough for myself and my colleague who were sharing. The air con worked a treat and the location meant that our room was really quiet. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable. The food was great too. Breakfast cost 12 euros and was freshly made, well stocked and delicious - a great start to the day. I also ate one meal in the evening too as I was too tired to go out - the food was fresh, and served fairly quickly.
The location is great - right on the pebbly beach - I would definitely stay here again.

Once upon a time this was my hidden gem . This was my fourth time to stay at this lovely hotel . Since my last visit it has been completely renovated including an elevator. The pictures online truly reflect how it looks today . The look and feel of the rooms and bathrooms are bright and modern . The balconies have also been redone but that wonderful view is still the same . If possible and available choose a sea view room . Indulge your senses and order room service for breakfast and enjoy it on your balcony overlooking that amazing blue water . Guaranteed way to start a wonderful day .

The hotel is very close to Monaco. So it's good to stay there if you're planning to visit Monaco. But there isn't much around the hotel itself. Don't be surprised by the outside of the hotel. It looks like a worn down building, but the rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated and very clean. The staff is nice and friendly. We would stay there again if we were visiting the same area. If you're bringing a car, make sure to contact the hotel in advance to book a parking spot. There are only a few spots at the entrance of the hotel and they must be booked in advance.

We stayed in this beautifully appointed hotel for 4 nights and were well impressed. The hotel is well designed and impeccable. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the views from the ocean view rooms are nothing short of breathtaking. The location is right across the beach and in the quieter part of Menton, which is a great base for a romantic stay if you are a couple. The location is handy for Monaco (10mins by train) and has great restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. Would definitely stay at Hotel Victoria again when I'm back in Menton.
