Good points are that the general hotel grounds and pool area are very nice and the walking proximity of the beach and Port Grimaud is comfortably near. But the bad points.... our room was dingy, the pillows were very uncomfortable, it all needed a good scrub with some bleach, the bathroom was grotty and grubby and small and full of tiny ants. Not good. The balcony had a nice view but hadn't had a good sweep or clean for ages it looked like, full of leaves and general muck. Tennis and golf were on hand but totally prohibitively expensive (as were 2 evening coffees - nearly TEN euros !!!) Housekeeping seemed non existant, our towels were not changed and I had to ask at reception for clean ones. No pool towels either and a tip if you arrive at the end of the day for a swim, take OFF the blue lounger covers, although they may look dry, they are thoroughly wet with peoples sweat and pool water. We just used it as a base really, but it was five star price that only delivered 2 star quality.
