“Lovely restaurant, excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

We visited this restaurant twice on a recent trip to Nice, it was the perfect place to eat. The food was really delicious, the setting modern but still cosy and cute. The chocolate souffle with mandarin sorbet is the best desert ever! The waiting staff were personable, informative, funny and friendly. Would highly recommend.

“Excellent bistro lunch in friendly cosy environment.”

Had lunch for 2 here, very intimate, cosy and with delicious food. Unhurried, relaxed and convivial. Thoroughly enjoyable service and experience.

“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We were attracted by the menu posted outside, Anywhere with a six course truffle degustation menu for 61 euro is making quite an effort towards fine dining at a reasonable price. Also, lots of effort had been put into the table settings, with lovely white tablecloths and such, and this is also a good sign. Usually the commitment and attention to detail in the restaurant's presentation also is reflected in the food. That was exactly the case here. While I could not persuade my wife to have six truffle courses for lunch, the fois gras was a perfectly presented, large serve with truffle shaving and fruit jelly and excellent. The veal liver in mustard sauce was a large thin escalope with a delightfully tangy sauce and excellent vegetables. My wife had the sea bass which was a whole fish that was then filleted after presentation and was perfectly done. We also had the excellent house champagne cocktails. All in all a wonderful lunch and I am still trying to persuade my wife to return for the truffle menu!

“Hearty well cooked food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

This. Is a small, attractive restaurant with friendly service and a thankfully short menu using seasonal food. There are two fish, three meat and one vegetarian dish for main choices. Pumpkin and chestnut soup with a Parmesan biscuit, ravioles with langoustine and courgette followed by an enormous slow cooked and spiced lamb shank and a very generous cassoulet. We should have not had the entreè but the chalked up menu looked interesting and the aromas from the small kitchen enticed us. A good Madiran complemented the food superbly.
I feel it needs to be higher in the charts than it is.

“Good honest food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Good food and service, however wine was very expensive. No option for a decent house wine, which was a shame. Nevertheless a good place to eat and I would recommend.
