This receives 5 stars relative to the other places you'll probably find along the Promenade. I travel a lot for work and "had" to stay in Nice for a recent 2-week business trip. I happened to bring along my wife and 4-month baby and this was an ideal place.
The seaside view is almost a "must" at this hotel. The rooms are roughly 402-408. We stayed in room 405. Without it, you might as well stay at the cheaper Hotel Suisse next door or at another place further west along the Promenade. The views of the ocean and coastline from here are second to none in the city.
Room size is fairly large relative to other European rooms. The bathrooms are really well kept and very clean. They're equally spacious as well.
The staff is very kind and courteous, especially the porters (namely, Nicholas). Parking can be done via valet - which is a great option if you stay for more than a week. Otherwise, there's a parking "lot" around the corner about 200 meters away, east of the hotel.
There are numerous places to eat nearby the hotel. We tried out over a dozen over the 2 week stay. Breakfast at the hotel is expensive (18 euro/person) so go outside. We did happen to order room service the first few meals as we were adjusting to jet lag and the food is superb, though pricey.
