“To be avoided!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012 via mobile

Mediocre food. One waiter tried fairly hard against a backdrop of general indifference. The owner's family, complete with bulldog noisily gnawing a bone in the middle of the small, untidy restaurant, gave a poor overall impression! Value for money was poor, two basic starters, two main courses (no vegetables in sight!) & a tiny portion of steamed rice each was €35, with no drinks. Though they did give us tap water for free... the one plus! Overall would not recommend this restaurant.

“Awful service, credit card scam going on”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

'Greeted' by the restaurant owner who was probably the most miserable server I have ever met. To be honest if it wasn't for the awful torrential rain outside (and the fact I was starving having run a marathon) I would have left. The order for the drinks and side dishes were presented incorrectly with no apology nor enthusiastic attempt to remedy them.

The real problem I had with this was the inability to use credit cards despite confirming that they were accepted upon our arrival. THREE different cards that were working in numerous outlets before and after our visit to this establishment were refused after entering our pin code several times. They wanted either myself or my wife to march down to the post office in the torrential rain to withdraw cash. Funny thing was with the credit card thing - one member of staff was in the kitchen whilst the other attended the credit card machine (I suspect to pull the phone connection, so they get the cash). Owner eventually printed out a list of all the credit card transactions made (on the day before I may add) to try and convince us that our money had not been taken - this list contained all the credit card numbers (minus last digit) and card holder name of the previous clients so that is the respect for data security (or lack thereof) that this restaurant has.

Oh, and the food was below average, typical for a French chinese restaurant (my wife lived and studied in France, I compete in France around six times per year).

“Neither waste your money nor risk getting sick!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012 via mobile

Been there in the evening and chose beef chop suey and fried rice. Obviously really easy to cook, yet the rice was overfried and had ananas in it, which has been addled. After explaining that to the service woman, she asked me unfriendly if I want the dish without ananas. No sorry, no guilty feelings, annoyed reaction instead. The second dish was ok, yet not tasty at all... same goes for the chop suey.
The glasses were dirty and so was the table. We were sent into a dirty corner, although the restaraunt was almost empty. That was the only table for 2.
Clearly this is a waste of money (the place isnt even super cheap, considering the quality tooo expensive) and even worse, you seriously risk getting sick and killing valueable time while being on vacation.

Obvious advice: dont step inside, your stomach and your wallet will hate you for that!

“Excellent, would return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012 via mobile

Food prices rank with other restaurants but quality far outweighs them, service excellent an so much passion goes into each dish the most I have ever seen a really talented chef. If returned to area would definitely eat there again

“worst Chinese meal ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

I've eaten Chinese food around the world, from Beijing to New York. This was the worst meal I've ever had in a Chinese restaurant. The beef with spicy sauce tasted very suspect. The dishes were all swimming in grease. Our dinner was revolting.
