This is a very good 3 star hotel. Location is fantastic. 5 minutes from the Promenade, old town and main shopping street. We made great use of the simple unadorned roof top terrace (i.e a few chairs and tables) where we had our breakfasts. We went to the fruit and veg store beside the hotel and bought lovely fresh fruit and then went and bought croissants and juice. A lovely way to start the day. This was nicer, and better value, than availing of the hotel breakfast which is €13.50 a go. Or so we felt.
Our room was on the fourth floor, a non smoking floor. The room was clean and a good size. It was cleaned every day. Bed was comfortable and the black out curtain blocked out the sunlight and we slept very well.
The hotel is one minute from a bus stop where you can get the bus to St. Paul de Vence and approximately fifteen minutes walk from the central bus station. From here you can travel to any number of locations along the coast - all for €1.30 each way.
You are less than ten minutes walk away from the morning fruit and veg market - a must see. At night it becomes a bustling market and restaurant area - also a must see
All in all I would recommend this hotel if you want a reasonably priced hotel in a great location. It is quiet, clean and convenient and we found it perfect for our needs..
